The  iPhone XR  is the cheapest and also the most compelling device in Apple’s new smartphone line-up, but unlike the  iPhone XS  and the  iPhone XS Max  which have already gone up for pre-order, the iPhone XR’s availability has been pushed to October. According to a report, the delay in the iPhone XR’s availability has been caused due to software optimization issues for the iPhone XR’s LCD panel and some production issues as well. Ryan Reith, VP of Mobile Devices Research at IDC, recently told  TheVerge   that software issues are  the main reason behind the delay, because the sub-par quality of the LCD panels forced Apple to implement some software tools  in order to improve the panel’s visual output. “Everything we’ve been hearing, it’s been an issue on the software side. There’s a lot of software involved with the LCD screen, as it’s the first [LCD display] with a notch and full screen” , Reith was quoted as saying. OnePlus has been testing Android 9 Pie based OxygenOS for the OnePlus 6 for quite a while now and has released two updates on the  Open Beta channel  to test the stability and performance of the build before releasing it on the stable channel. Just a couple weeks after Xiaomi had  started rolling out  the stable build of its next major software update –  MIUI 10  in China, the company has now decided to make the MIUI 10 stable builds available globally, including India. So, if you have any of the devices mentioned below, you should be getting the MIUI 10 update anytime now. The MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM has now become  available for a handful of devices , including  the Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro,  Mi 6, Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2, Mi 5, Mi Note 2, and the Redmi Y2 , which was the first Xiaomi device to witness the rollout of the MIUI 10 stable update earlier this week. Talking about the specifics,  MIUI 10 for all the devices is based on Android 8.0 Oreo, except for the  Redmi Note 5 Pro, which is getting Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 10 with this stable update . Realme recently  launched  its second smartphone, the Realme 2, in India at Rs. 8,990.
