Apple will reportedly launch AirPods 2, new iPad, AirPower on March 29th

“The report suggests that the mid-cycle Apple event will be held this year on March 29th, with pre-orders for upcoming devices beginning on March 22nd.” Apple is reportedly set to host its mid-cycle event on March 29th, according to a report by a Greek publication. The report cites supply chain sources to quote a rather specific date for the launch of the new devices. If it does come true, then Apple will be hosting its mid-cycle event this year on March 29th, while the devices rumoured to be launching set to go up for pre-orders on March 22nd. OnePlus to unveil its 5G smartphone prototype at MWC 2019

“Attendees will be able to communicate over a 5G network and experience the capabilities of 5G gaming at the OnePlus stand.” After weeks and months of teasing its 5G smartphone, OnePlus has finally confirmed when the next-generation phone will make a public appearance. While confirming its participation at the MWC later this month, the Chinese company stated that its 5G prototype will be on display at the OnePlus stand within Qualcomm’s booth, where users cum attendees will be able to communicate over a 5G network and also experience the capabilities of 5G gaming. Within a few weeks time we shall have a fair idea as to what level of performance to expect from the final product. No further details have been revealed by the company thus far, therefore the exact specifications of the 5G phone remain unclear. Xiaomi’s foldable phone renders surface, company affirms development

“The company’s global PR team has highlighted the development process, and how its in-house technology was combined with supply chain sources.” Xiaomi’s foldable smartphone has been detailed previously as well. Company CEO Lin Bin has already released a teaser video that shows a working prototype of the folding device, with a dual-folding display and chassis and a uniquely adaptive MIUI firmware. Now, based on these teasers,  Let’s Go Digital  has created renders of the alleged foldable smartphone and its dual-folding form factor. The renders show how the device opens up to form a tablet. The two sides of the device can then be folded in equivalent proportions to create a smartphone form factor, which is supposedly going to be the ideal form factor for a portable computing device in the future. Nokia 9 PureView’s Google Play Console listing confirms Snapdragon 845 SoC and 6GB RAM variant

“The Nokia 9 PureView will be the world’s first smartphone to offer a Penta-lens camera setup” HMD Global is all set to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the  Nokia 9 PureView , at  an event on February 24th , right before MWC 2019 kicks off. Ahead of the unveiling, we’ve already seen a number of press renders of the upcoming flagship. Just yesterday, the phone was spotted on Android Enterprise’s website, which revealed key details regarding the handset’s specs. Now, the Nokia 9 PureView has surfaced on the Google Play Console’s website, which has furthermore confirmed some features of the device. According to the Google Play Console, the Nokia 9 PureView will indeed be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor, corroborating the earlier reports. The SoC will have four Qualcomm Kryo 280 cores with a clock speed of 2.45GHz, and four Kryo 280 cores with a frequency of 1.9GHz. The chipset will be paired with a Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU that has a clock speed of 650MHz.

Samsung Galaxy S10+ banner gets leaked before launch event

“The Samsung Galaxy S10 event is scheduled to take place on February 20 in San Francisco” We are now just eight days from the  Galaxy S10 Unpacked  launch event. The company recently  posted  a teaser which pretty much confirmed that a foldable Galaxy phone will be launched alongside the rest of the devices. Now, there’s a new leak that shows a banner that could be used at the launch event. The banner shows the  Galaxy S10+ in all its glory and also shows the camera cutout and other design aspects.  It’s not like we haven’t seen any leaks or renders of the  Galaxy S10  devices, but it is always nice to see more. The Galaxy S10+ and other Galaxy S10 variants have already leaked several times. We know what the device looks like and we are also familiar with most of its hardware specifications as well.
