JioGigaFiber Registrations are Now Open, But Getting a Connection Might Take Time

Early last month at its 41st Annual General Meeting, Reliance Jio announced its FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) broadband service –  JioGigaFiber . The company claimed that its fiber broadband  service will be rolled out simultaneously across 1,100 cities  in the country, with registrations starting from August 15. Well, as you might have already guessed it, registrations for the JioGigaFiber service are now open on the company’s website and on the MyJio app, however, there’s a catch. Registering for the service right now won’t guarantee that you’ll get a JioGigaFiber connection as soon as it’s released. The company’s registration formality is a feasibility survey of sorts which will help it decide which areas to target first. Areas which receive the most registrations will get JioGigaFiber services first, with other areas following at a later time. As of now, the company hasn’t disclosed any pricing information or revealed a timeline about the rollout, although it is expected that

Realme 2 Accidentally Leaked on Company’s Website

An image of the upcoming Realme 2 was recently leaked on the company’s  website ahead of the official announcement. The image, which has since been taken down, gives a good look at the front and back of the Realme 2. The photos weren’t accompanied with any information about the device, but it does reveal that the upcoming device will succumb to the notch trend. While that isn’t much to go on, the image also reveals that the device will have a  dual camera setup on the back , unlike the single camera setup on the Realme 1, and it’ll also be sporting a  fingerprint sensor on the back , something which the Realme 1 lacked altogether. Quite like the Realme 1, its successor will also sport a geometric design on the back, with the phone possibly being made available in at least two colors – blue and black. From the looks of it,  the Realme 2 looks an awful lot like the Oppo F7  with minor differences. This leads us to believe that the Realme 2 might also be powered by the same Medi

Image Courtesy: KGI Research TrendForce’s report states that the LCD iPhone variant will be placed as Apple’s main product this year as the device alone reportedly accounts for 50% of the net production share of all three upcoming iPhone models. Controversial Kimbho App Taken Down From Play Store Again After Second ‘Soft Launch’

Another day, another version of the  swadeshi  messenger, another chain of complaints from users, and another hasty takedown – it seems  yoga guru  Baba Ramdev’s plan to launch a home-brewed messaging app which replaces WhatsApp is stuck in circle. After boasting about the restructured and now encrypted  Kimbho  messenger which was  soft launched (for the second time)  on India’s 72nd Independence Day, the  app appears to have been taken down again . The app is set to launch officially on August 27 and as of now, it is difficult to tell why it was removed a second time.
