PUBG Aims to Take eSports World by Storm with Five-Year Plan

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG has taken the gaming world by a storm, and after taking the battle royale genre to the heights at which it is today, the game is trying to make its way into eSports as well. At the PUBG Global Invitational 2018 (PGI 2018) pre-event media day,  PUBG Corp  outlined  a five-year vision for PUBG’s eSports future,  detailing the plans for building a memorable, unique and sustainable platform. According to CEO Changhan Kim,  2018 is the year for the company to lay down strong groundwork for the PUBG eSports system.  The company hopes to build a solid structure with the help of the investments, and fulfill its commitment to provide an eSports experience for PUBG. Over the course of the next few years,  the team plans to encourage broad-based participation in amateur events.  Additionally, regional leagues will be hosted with external partners across each region, with a world championship event where the top professional teams from various regions

Asphalt 9: Legends Officially Launched for Android and iOS

Asphalt 9: Legends, the much-awaited iteration to the series of leading racing title from Gameloft, is finally here. While Asphalt 9 was launched as a preview back in February, the crowd-puller is now  launching for Android and iOS . With the long overdue update, nearly  50 new cars  have been added to the Asphalt franchise. There are also new locations and track options. Additionally, to promote  multiplayer races , players will be able to form or join clubs and race with six other players.Asphalt 9 weighs in at 1.5GB on both the platforms and brings enhanced graphics, better customization options, improved controls.  Gameloft  has added new options for multiplayer racing, and now offers better rewards to users, in order to emphasize on online gaming. Xiaomi Mi A2 with Snapdragon 660 To Be Launched in India on August 8 Xiaomi has today unveiled the much-awaited Mi A2 smartphone with Android One at an event in Spain, and much like its predecessor, the  Mi A2  flaunts a sleek metallic build and an upgraded imaging hardware. The Mi A2 runs Android One which means you are getting a near stock Android experience with a few Xiaomi apps. The phone will be available in three color variants – Blue, Black, and Gold. The Mi A2 will be available in three variants: 4GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, priced at 249 Euros 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, priced at 279 Euros 6GB RAM +128GB internal storage, priced at 349 Euros The company has not yet announced the prices outside Europe so Indian fans will have to wait to find out the pricing.  Mi A2 will be available in around 40 countries, including India, and  will go on sale starting July 27  in France through the official Mi website as well as online and retail outlets.
