Asphalt 9: Legends Officially Launched for Android and iOS

Asphalt 9: Legends, the much-awaited iteration to the series of leading racing title from Gameloft, is finally here. While Asphalt 9 was launched as a preview back in February, the crowd-puller is now launching for Android and iOS.

With the long overdue update, nearly 50 new cars have been added to the Asphalt franchise. There are also new locations and track options. Additionally, to promote multiplayer races, players will be able to form or join clubs and race with six other players.Asphalt 9 weighs in at 1.5GB on both the platforms and brings enhanced graphics, better customization options, improved controls. Gameloft has added new options for multiplayer racing, and now offers better rewards to users, in order to emphasize on online gaming.
There are also some minor upgrades including automatic acceleration and even automatic turning. Asphalt 9 brings dedicated buttons for nitro and drift, while there are gestures to assist you while driving – including a swipe control to change lanes. The new “TouchDrive” controls enhance the overall experience of the game and allow players to focus on the enjoyable elements of racing, claims Gameloft.
For those who might not like the new system, Asphalt 9 also brings back the tilt and touch-based controls which were removed from the game at the time of the soft-launch. Kudos to Gameloft for listening to the feedback by many users.
Asphalt 9: Legends Officially Launched for Android and iOS
The best part is that Gameloft has launched Asphalt 9 a day before the official launch. It is unlikely that the developer decided to do so to steal the limelight from the launch of Alto’s Odyssey which is also expected to launch tomorrow. It is also unknown if this was intentional or by someone’s mistake. Nonetheless, being able to play the latest Asphalt game, that too a day before its launch, should be a merry feeling.
You can download Asphalt 9 from Google Play Store (free) and iOS App Store (free).

Xiaomi could launch Mi MIX 3 5G on February 24th, ahead of MWC 2019

“While the Mi MIX 3 is pretty much certain to have a new 5G variant, the launch date remains debatable as of now.” Xiaomi is reportedly setting up to launch its first  5G-compliant smartphone , based on the Mi MIX 3, on February 24th. Word pertaining to the launch was shared on Twitter by user Ben Geskin, who is known to have tipped quite a few product launches in the past. However, the tweet has since been deleted, although the infographic that was shared has now been reuploaded online. To affirm, there is literally nothing in the invite that seems to suggest that the Mi MIX 3 5G will be launched on February 24th. It only reads ‘we make it happen’, along with Xiaomi’s company logo. While this indeed points at an impending launch from Xiaomi’s stable, it can also allude to other devices as well — for instance, the flagship Mi 9. That said, there is a fair amount of chance that the  Mi MIX 3 5G  will be launched at the Mobile W...
