Apple Upgrades MacBook Air with 8th Gen Intel CPUs, Retina Display, Touch ID; Starts at $1,199

“People love the Mac,”  said Tim Cook on stage as he began talking about the new Mac line up. And the first product we got to see today was the new MacBook Air complete with the Retina Display, Touch ID, and a whole lot more. Right off the bat, you’ll see that the new MacBook Pro laptops have a slightly new design. Gone are the massive bezels around the display, and the age old-processors, as the new MacBook Air has slim bezels and 8th generation Intel Core processors. Anyway, here’s what the new MacBook Air (2018) looks like – The new MacBook Air comes in  three new pretty colors  and it weighs just  2.75 pounds , making it much more compact. The new MacBook Air laptops have an upgraded 13.3-inch Retina display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. This is indeed a significant upgrade considering the fact that older MacBook Air had a dated display and look. It also has the butterfly switch keyboards with individually lit buttons.
