Apple Upgrades MacBook Air with 8th Gen Intel CPUs, Retina Display, Touch ID; Starts at $1,199

“People love the Mac,” said Tim Cook on stage as he began talking about the new Mac line up. And the first product we got to see today was the new MacBook Air complete with the Retina Display, Touch ID, and a whole lot more.
Right off the bat, you’ll see that the new MacBook Pro laptops have a slightly new design. Gone are the massive bezels around the display, and the age old-processors, as the new MacBook Air has slim bezels and 8th generation Intel Core processors. Anyway, here’s what the new MacBook Air (2018) looks like –
The new MacBook Air comes in three new pretty colors and it weighs just 2.75 pounds, making it much more compact.
The new MacBook Air laptops have an upgraded 13.3-inch Retina display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. This is indeed a significant upgrade considering the fact that older MacBook Air had a dated display and look.
It also has the butterfly switch keyboards with individually lit buttons. There’s also a Force Touch trackpad, which Apple claims is 20-percent larger than the one on the current MacBook Air model.
Internally, the new MacBook Air is powered by 8th generation Intel Core processors and can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM, up to a 1.5TB SSD. As we predicted, Apple has opted to add two USB Type-C ports and Touch ID for secure login.
The base variant of the MacBook Air with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD is priced at $1,199 and it goes on sale in the US starting November 7.

MIUI 11 roadmap revealed: What to know about MIUI 11, and when to expect it

MIUI 11  has been available in China for a short while now, but  Xiaomi  users outside its home market don’t have to wait long. The company has launched MIUI 11 in India, while also issuing a device roadmap for the update. Rumors for the  unveiling  of Xiaomi’s upcoming Android skin have proven true. The company will unveil MIUI 12, alongside Mi 10 Youth Edition 5G, on 27th April in its home country, China.
