Infinix Hot 6 Pro With Face Unlock Launched in India For Rs 7,999

Infinix has announced the launch of its latest smartphone in India. Called the ‘Hot 6 Pro’, the device is the latest product to be launched by the company as part of its ‘Hot’ smartphone series that includes the Hot 4 from last year. The company also markets phones under a bunch of other lineups, including Note, Hot S and Zero.

Infinix Hot 6 Pro Specifications

The Hot 6 Pro comes with a 5.99-inch HD+ (720×1440) 18:9 FullView LCD display, and is being marketed by Infinix as ‘made for watching videos’. It is powered by the Snapdragon 425 SoC, and comes with 3GB of DDR3 RAM alongside 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded by way of a microSD card.
The device sports dual cameras on the back, including a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. While the primary camera is paired with an f/2.0 lens and comes with PDAF, the secondary one only has fixed focus. There’s also a dual-LED flash to illuminate subjects in darkness. The selfie camera, meanwhile, comes a 5MP sensor with an f/2.0 fixed-focus lens and softlight flash. Software features include portrait mode (bokeh effect) and Face Unlock.
Connectivity options on the Infinix Hot 6 Pro includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, Micro-USB with OTG, FM radio and a 3.5mm AUX port. The device carries a 4,000mAh battery with support for 6W charging (5V/1.2A). The Hot 6 Pro measures 160.43mm x 76.21mm x 8.6mm, and weighs 158 grams.

Pricing and Availability

Infinix Hot 6 Pro carries a price tag of Rs 7,999, and will be available starting later this week exclusively via Flipkart. It will be offered in Sandstone Black, Magic Gold and Bordeaux Red color options.

Xiaomi could launch Mi MIX 3 5G on February 24th, ahead of MWC 2019

“While the Mi MIX 3 is pretty much certain to have a new 5G variant, the launch date remains debatable as of now.” Xiaomi is reportedly setting up to launch its first  5G-compliant smartphone , based on the Mi MIX 3, on February 24th.
