Earlier this month, Xiaomi started rolling out the MIUI 10 global stable ROM to a number of devices around the world. Just a couple of days ago, the company announced the rollout of its latest software update for its most popular device – the Redmi Note 5 Pro – in the country and now it has started rolling out the update for the Redmi Note 5 as well.
The rollout was recently announced via the official MIUI India Twitter handle in which the company also linked to the official thread for the changelog of the latest release. According to the changelog thread, the MIUI 10 global stable ROM for the Redmi Note 5 includes the following changes:
All-new full screen gestures
All-new UI elements for full screen devices
Natural ever-changing sound system with simplified system sounds and smart filters
New ambient forest, beach, drizzle, stove fire and summer night sounds to help users relax and focus on the task at hand
Other performance improvements and optimizations, including an AI-powered portrait mode for single camera devices
