Micromax Infinity N11, N12 with Helio P22 Launched in India; Start at Rs 8,999

Micromax recently began teasing the launch of a new smartphone that will feature a dual camera set-up and a notch. Today, the domestic smartphone maker has unveiled two new smartphones- Infinity N11 andInfinity N12 – both of which feature a dual rear camera set-up and a wide notch. The Infinity N11 has been priced at Rs. 8,999 while the N12 carries a price tag of Rs. 9,999, but details about their availability are yet to be revealed.


Both the smartphones feature a glossy rear panel, with the Infinity N12 flaunting a dual-tone gradient finish while the Infinity N11 features a strip on the left side of the rear panel surrounding the dual camera module.


The Infinity N11 and Infinity N12 pack a 6.12-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a wide notch. Both the Micromax smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, however, the amount of RAM differs.

The N12 comes with 3GB of RAM paired with 32GB of internal storage, while the N11 features 2GB of RAM with the same amount of internal storage which is further expandable via a microSD card.


In the imaging department, the Infinity N12 features an AI-assisted 13MP+5MP dual rear camera set-up which comes with support for bokeh shots and automatic mode detection. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera which also has support for bokeh effect and night mode.

The Infinity N11 has a 13MP+5MP dual rear camera setup with the same set of features as the Infinity N12, but it comes equipped with an 8MP front camera. Both the devices feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and also have support for face unlock.

The Micromax Infinity N12 and N11 duo features a large 4,000mAh battery and runs Android 8.1 Oreo, however, Micromax has promised to release Android 9 Pie update for both the devices within the next 45 days. The new Micromax smartphones come in Blue Lagoon, Viola and Velvet Red color options and will soon be available via e-commerce platforms and retail stores across the country.

MIUI 11 roadmap revealed: What to know about MIUI 11, and when to expect it

MIUI 11  has been available in China for a short while now, but  Xiaomi  users outside its home market don’t have to wait long. The company has launched MIUI 11 in India, while also issuing a device roadmap for the update. Xiaomi could launch Mi MIX 3 5G on February 24th, ahead of MWC 2019

“While the Mi MIX 3 is pretty much certain to have a new 5G variant, the launch date remains debatable as of now.” Xiaomi is reportedly setting up to launch its first  5G-compliant smartphone , based on the Mi MIX 3, on February 24th. Word pertaining to the launch was shared on Twitter by user Ben Geskin, who is known to have tipped quite a few product launches in the past. However, the tweet has since been deleted, although the infographic that was shared has now been reuploaded online. To affirm, there is literally nothing in the invite that seems to suggest that the Mi MIX 3 5G will be launched on February 24th. It only reads ‘we make it happen’, along with Xiaomi’s company logo.
