Mi MIX 4 smartphone won't be launched anytime soon. Fans will have to wait for long for the upcoming flagship, which has been part of the leaks for quite some time. A netizen in China cared to ask Xiaomi co-founder and President Lin Bin on Weibo if the vendor is gearing up to launch its upcoming flagship Mi MIX 4 on August 4th, to which he replied 'No.' Notably, the launch cycle of the Mi MIX series smartphone is usually September/ October. The Mi MIX 2 smartphone was launched back on September 11, 2017, while last year Xiaomi announced the Mi MIX 3handset on October 25. Therefore, we can expect the Mi MIX 4 launch to be around the same time.

While it's confirmed that Xiaomi is working on the Mi MIX 4 smartphone, its key features remain unknown. However, Jun previously said that the handset will have a ‘Super Art Business Flagship.' Most likely the phone will have an innovative design, combined with top-of-the-line hardware. The Mi MIX 3 had a slider design that captured everyone's attention.
Going by the rumours, the Mi MIX 4 is expected to pack a periscope lens camera technology. The technology can produce lossless images of subjects placed at a distance. The handset is also said to have a camera better than the Samsung GW1 64MP sensor, an impressive screen-to-body ratio, in-display fingerprint scanner, and a whopping 100W fast charging support. Since it'll be a flagship from Xiaomi, the Mi MIX 4 will have Qualcomm's premium Snapdragon 855 SoC ticking at its core. We can expect Xiaomi to launch a 5G variant of its upcoming Mi MIX series smartphone.
