Vodafone is down: Network crashes leaving users unable to access the internet

UPDATE: Vodafone is now back up and running

It’s one of the most popular mobile networks across the UK, but it seems that Vodafone is experiencing issues this afternoon.

According to Down Detector, the problems started at around 12:25 BST, and are affecting users across the UK.

Of those who reported issues, 62% said they were having issues with their home broadband, 19% with their mobile phone, and 17% with their mobile internet.

Speaking to Mirror Online, a Vodafone spokesperson said: "We had a technical fault affecting calls to and from fixed telephone networks.

"This began shortly after midday, and we fixed the issue at around 14.15. We apologise to those customers that were affected.”
