Alongside the Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi took the stage today for the global debut of the Redmi Note 7 Pro — which can be looked at as a more powerful version of the Redmi Note 7. The phone enters the budget market segment of the smartphone market in India, and if the Redmi Note 5 Pro (and even the Redmi Note 6 Pro) is anything to go by, this should be wildly popular as well.

Redmi Note 7 Pro Notable Features:

While the Redmi Note 7 Pro definitely looks like a pretty impressive smartphone from Xiaomi. First off, it looks good thanks to the 2.5D curved glass design on both the front and the back. Plus, there’s Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and the back so it won’t get scratched up easily. Of course, there’s a Type-C port here as well, and the phone retains the headphone jack. The best part though, is that the phone uses the Sony IMX586 48MP camera, unlike the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor, and it supports 4K video recording at 30FPS.

So what do you think about the Redmi Note 7 Pro? Let us know in the comments below. Of course, we’ll be reviewing the device very soon, so stay tuned for that.

Xiaomi could launch Mi MIX 3 5G on February 24th, ahead of MWC 2019

“While the Mi MIX 3 is pretty much certain to have a new 5G variant, the launch date remains debatable as of now.” Xiaomi is reportedly setting up to launch its first  5G-compliant smartphone , based on the Mi MIX 3, on February 24th. Word pertaining to the launch was shared on Twitter by user Ben Geskin, who is known to have tipped quite a few product launches in the past. However, the tweet has since been deleted, although the infographic that was shared has now been reuploaded online. To affirm, there is literally nothing in the invite that seems to suggest that the Mi MIX 3 5G will be launched on February 24th. It only reads ‘we make it happen’, along with Xiaomi’s company logo. While this indeed points at an impending launch from Xiaomi’s stable, it can also allude to other devices as well — for instance, the flagship Mi 9. That said, there is a fair amount of chance that the  Mi MIX 3 5G  will be launched at the Mobile W...
